Buy books in our Ottawa Library Bookstores

ReadingWe raise over $250,000 for the Ottawa Public Library annually, with most funds coming from the operation of used bookstores, self-serve bookshelves in library branches, and specialty book sales run by volunteers.

If you’re looking for a book for yourself, or a gift for someone you know, visit the bookstore nearest you and uncover some gently-used (and much-loved) treasures. We receive new donations throughout the week, so visit often for the best finds.

In order to offer you the best selection, we only sell books that are in good condition, and we make an effort not to stock books that are more than ten years old. Our customers keep coming back because we sell recent best-selling novels and non-fiction texts for only a dollar or two!
