Buy books in our Ottawa Library Bookstores

ReadingWe raise over $250,000 for the Ottawa Public Library annually, with most funds coming from the operation of used bookstores, self-serve bookshelves in library branches, and specialty book sales run by volunteers.

If you’re looking for a book for yourself, or a gift for someone you know, visit the bookstore nearest you and uncover some gently used (and much loved) treasures. We receive new donations throughout the week, so visit often for the best finds.

In order to offer you the best selection we only sell books in good condition and make an effort not to stock anything more than ten years old. Our customers keep coming back because we sell recent bestselling novels and non-fiction texts for only a dollar or two!
